Privacy Policy

MakeMyPalette ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at makemypalette.com. This page describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable privacy regulations including the GDPR and CCPA.

No user data is uploaded

Every tool on MakeMyPalette runs entirely in your web browser. Files you select (such as images in the Favicon Generator) are processed locally using JavaScript and the Canvas API. No files, color values, CSS output, or any other user content is ever transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Cookies

MakeMyPalette uses a single localStorage entry to remember your cookie consent preference. We do not set any tracking cookies of our own.

If you accept cookies via our consent banner, the following third-party services may set cookies:

• Google Analytics — used to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, session duration, referral source). Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. You can opt out by declining cookies on our consent banner or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser extension.
• Google AdSense — used to display advertisements. AdSense may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.

These third-party cookies are only loaded after you give explicit consent through our cookie banner. If you decline, no third-party scripts are loaded and no cookies are set.

Analytics

When analytics are enabled (after consent), we collect anonymous, aggregated data: page views, referral URLs, browser type, and approximate geographic region. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or IP addresses. IP anonymization is enabled in our analytics configuration.

Advertising

We display ads via Google AdSense to support the free operation of MakeMyPalette. Ad slots appear below the fold on tool pages and never interrupt the tool interface. Ad scripts are loaded only after cookie consent is granted.

Data retention

We do not store any user data on our servers. The only data persisted locally in your browser is your cookie consent preference, stored in localStorage. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have the right to:

• Withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser storage
• Request information about what data we hold (we hold none)
• Request deletion of your data (we store nothing server-side)
• Opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings

Children's privacy

MakeMyPalette does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect PII from any user, no special provisions are necessary.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
